Training Centre & State Command

Our Training Centre at Alto Porvorim, Panjim, Goa, is designed for an intake of 50 students at a time. We have 3 classrooms duly equipped with all visual aids and an outdoor training facility in the same campus to demonstrate the tact of civil combat, fire fighting as also a complete understanding of HHMD, DFMD, undercarriage suspension check, sight of explosives etc. The syllabus is so designed that we, in fact, go beyond delivery of the 125 hours of training which is mandatory for all Security Guards, in keeping with the requirements of The Private Security and Regulations Act, 2005 (PSARA). The syllabus includes two parts, general deployment guidelines and specific deployment guidelines. Part I includes:

1. Ensuring of high visibility of security deployed at the premises to serve as a deterrent for employee, theft, pilferage, vandalism, or irresponsible acts.
2. Ensuring of compliance of management’s internal security policy
3. Ensuring of safety and protection of the client’s property, material etc.
4. Reporting all security violations to the client and suggestion of suitable counter measures.
5. Deny entry to unwanted or unauthorized person through breaking or regular entrances.
6. Receive and guide patrons as per the advice of the client.
7. Deny access to person as desired by the client.
8. Keeping a close watch on suspicious elements.

Part II includes classroom cum field training, wherein we actually simulate field conditions at our Training Centre and further augment it with ‘On-the-Job Training (OJT) wherein our supervisors, inspectors and Operations Managers qualify the specific requirement of each post on the customer site and hand out an instruction sheet/job card for all guards.

The Guard Force is thus made completely ready for immediate deployment in highly sensitive zones such as 5-Star Hotel properties, mines, embassies, consulates etc. Our trainers are trained with state of the art training material and syllabus is discussed with all stakeholders beforehand to include/preclude certain issues, specific to their requirements.
